Just returned with my wife from a wonderful weekend in Santa Ynez, very European. This was our first trip to the region and we loved the towns of Los Olivos and Solvang. The people were very friendly for a tourist destination and the wine was elegant. My wife and I both fell in love with a new winery name "Epiphany," a sister to the Fess Parker vineyard. The 2004 Petite Sirah was so good, full body and rich bouquet. If you are looking for a great weekend getaway, I would very much recommend this destination.
